Latin America

The World Mosquito Program is working with communities in Mexico, Colombia, Honduras, Brazil and El Salvador to help combat large-scale outbreaks of mosquito-borne disease. Brazil leads the world in terms of reported dengue cases, while huge proportions of both the Mexican and Colombian populations are at risk. We’re expanding our reach across Latin America with the aim of providing a long-term, self-sustaining alternative to current vector control approaches.

Asia

The World Mosquito Program is partnering with countries across Asia to help protect communities from mosquito-borne diseases. Our projects in Indonesia are showing particularly promising results, while sites in Indonesia, Laos, Sri Lanka and Vietnam are at various stages of development. We’re also working with governments and communities on plans to expand to other countries throughout the region.

Oceania

Our work with countries across the Oceania region has been driven by the success of our projects in Northern Australia. Mosquito-borne diseases have long been prevalent throughout the Pacific, and we're working closely with health authorities and local communities in Australia, Fiji, Kiribati, New Caledonia and Vanuatu to implement our method in areas that are most at risk.
